For something different from the Easter brunch norm, Instagram-famous Spanish restaurant Calle Ocho’s newly launched Easter picnic basket has piqued our interest.

Priced at HKD498 for two, this charming picnic basket has a suitable Spanish panache, filled to the brim with a selection of Spanish cold cuts, empanadas, prawn croquettes, tortilla skewers, churros with salted caramel, manchego cheesecake, two bottles of orange juice or soft drinks, and a bottle of mineral water. To make your life even easier, glassware and a picnic mat are part of this Easter dining deal.

You can upgrade your picnic spread to include a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV (HKD688 for 2) or Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque (HKD988 for 2).

Other Pirata Group restaurants offering Easter picnic baskets this year include Stanley’s Pane e Latte with an Italian pastry slant and the Tseung Kwan O branch of Pici, featuring sweet and savoury Italian treats.

The Easter picnic baskets are available for collection from Mar. 29 till Apr. 1 and can be ordered online.
