Conrad Hong Kong – Love of Pink Afternoon Tea by Lobby Lounge
This decidedly feminine afternoon tea at Conrad Hong Kong is in support of HK Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution fundraising campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and newly appointed Pastry Chef Ason Kan has whipped up a delightful selection of sweet and savoury treats in different shades of pink. There’s foie gras mousse with strawberry, marinated crab with watermelon, beetroot-cured salmon with horseradish cream, raspberry eclair, lychee-raspberry-rose mousse cake, white chocolate and red berry verrine and more. Amongst the drink options, the special drink Pink Lady – a mix of rose syrup, salted plum, coconut water and soda – is recommended.

Eaton HK – Astor Chocoland Afternoon Tea Buffet by The Astor
You’ll feel like Willy Wonka when you get stuck into The Astor’s latest chocolate-themed afternoon tea buffet. The chocolate sweets are indeed the highlights – everything from hazelnut milk chocolate cake, blueberry roll cake in white chocolate mousse and passion-fruit chocolate cake to the showstopping chocolate fountain station with its assortment of dippers – but there are also several savoury counters (cold seafood, Japanese, Western and Asian) where you can eat your fill of the likes of fresh prawns and mussels, sushi, tempura, lobster sliders, Korean-style braised lamb, congee and dim sum and then skip dinner.

Harbour Grand Kowloon – Japanese Autumn Afternoon Tea by Corner Café
This extremely wallet-friendly afternoon tea at Harbour Grand Kowloon features an extensive array of confectioneries made with seasonal Japanese fruits and Japanese-inspired savoury bites. There’s grilled eel sushi, minced chicken skewer, braised abalone teriyaki, rose and white peach roll, mango mochi, melon tart and more – enough said!

The Hari – Jackson Box Tea Set by The Lounge x Jackson’s Scone
The Hari, a relative newcomer to the HK luxury hotel scene, has debuted a supremely elevated afternoon tea experience in collaboration with local bakery Jackson’s Scone – the ideal teatime union – with plenty of sweet and savoury contenders. The sweet bites includes scones in both classic flavour and Jackson’s yuzu-flavoured collab with The Hari, blueberry cheesecake, cannoli with pistachio and Amalfi lemon and the hotel’s signature tiramisu. On the savoury side, there’s a generous selection of finger sandwiches, black truffle and ham calzone and Japanese egg-yolk mousse topped with smoked herring caviar to keep diners happy. Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui – Winter Delights Afternoon Tea by Cafe

Kerry Hotel – Glamorous Blizzard Indulgence Afternoon Tea by Lobby Lounge x MAC
Kerry Hotel’s latest tea partnership is with MAC Cosmetics as the leading beauty brand launches its limited-time Bizarre Blizzard Bash collection, just in time for the holidays. In November, Executive Chef Michael Clinton and his team place the savoury spotlight on black truffle, with the focus moving to caviar in December. Executive Pastry Chef Jérôme Husson’s artistic, vibrant creations include festive sweets like dark chocolate and walnut cake, quince and mandarin tart and chestnut and pear parfait. Kowloon Shangri-La – Floral Moments Afternoon Tea & Weekend Afternoon Tea Buffet by Lobby Lounge
The latest co-branded afternoon tea at Kowloon Shangri-La sees the hotel joining hands with Yves Rocher in celebration of the French beauty expert’s anti-ageing products. The weekday afternoon tea experience showcases a selection of inventive savoury bites (think fish maw and crab tartare in yuzu dressing and smoked duck with pickle in matcha pancake) alongside an array of East-meets-West sweets crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Dhilmin Silva and team (we love the sounds of the fusion matchamisu and jasmine tea Paris-Brest). The Langham – A Classic British Afternoon Tea by Palm Court
The elegant Palm Court tearoom is the perfect choice for this classic British afternoon tea, which has been served at The Langham’s London property since 1865. Pastry Chef Tin Lai even travelled to the London sister hotel to learn the secrets of this historic British custom. The Murray – Enchanting Bloom Afternoon Tea by Popinjays x ALBION
The Murray’s snazzy rooftop restaurant Popinjays has joined forces with ALBION to ring in the launch of the Japanese skincare brand’s cell-repairing serum eclafutur-t, which is uniquely infused with the extract of Yumesaika, a newly discovered variety of peony. Executive Pastry Chef Frank Law has incorporated fruity and floral elements into his array of sweet treats, most notably in the mirror-glazed pink guava mousse sablé adorned with ALBION’s Yumesaika floral pattern. The savouries by Chef de Cuisine Paolo Tolleretti – from the Peking duck bao, to the smoked salmon tartare with cauliflower crème brûlée, to the foie gras terrine with pistachio and cherry jam – are about as sophisticated as it gets when it comes to afternoon tea.

The Ritz-Carlton – Hwanyu Afternoon Tea by Café 103 x The history of Whoo
Premium Korean skincare brand The history of Whoo is the focus of this refined afternoon tea experience at The Ritz-Carlton’s sky-high Café 103. In particular, the tea set celebrates the brand’s newly unveiled fourth-generation Hwanyu series, which has been designed to fully activate the healing properties of 30-year-old ginseng. The Royal Garden – Hydro Refresh Afternoon Tea by J’s Bar Bistro x LANEIGE

The Upper House – Salisterra x Cookie DPT Afternoon Tea
A long-time friend of The Upper House, this afternoon tea at Salisterra is a collab with everyone’s favourite home-grown cookie brand – Cookie DPT – which has also set up a deli pop-up on the sixth floor of the hotel. This tiered tea set is inspired by classic breakfast dishes. Savoury brekkie bites include chicken avocado toast and cream cheese and lox on an “everything” bagel, while bite-sized sweet treats include buttermilk pancakes and salted caramel French toast. Cookie DPT’s cereal-milk latte is the drink of choice.
