The Hong Kong sake festival is making its return to The Mira Hong Kong hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui Aug. 14-16 to celebrate all things great about sake and shochu.

More than 500 types of sake and shochu, covering Japan’s 43 sake-producing prefectures, will be on show to delight the festival-goers. The producers and suppliers are categorised into three regions of Japan – Central, East, and West – to educate sake-loving Hong Kongers on the variety of the spirit.

Over the three August nights, additional Japanese sake themed master classes and sake 101 introductory classes (both HKD280 per person) will be hosted at WHISK and the hotel’s function room to detail the characteristics of sake and how to pick and taste a good bottle.

The Hong Kong sake festival will be hosted from 6:30PM to 10:30PM on Aug. 14-16. One day tickets cost HKD680 per person, with a two day-pass at HKD1,180. The tickets include unlimited tastings of sake and all-you-can-eat bites.
