At Foodie, our mission is to know food

Founded in June 2009, Foodie magazine has led in Hong Kong as the definitive source for food and drinks news, guides, features, and interviews.  

At its inception, Foodie enthralled a local readership with the publishing of a bi-monthly print magazine that combed through the hottest new restaurant openings, latest menus, cool dining pop-ups, seasonal recipes, and visiting chefs, providing Hong Kong with vital foodie know-how.  

From June 2009 to July 2020, Foodie delivered its print magazine to Hong Kong for free, giving a well-deserved voice to the city’s F&B community. Online, Foodie has captured an eager fanbase who follow to eat well and better in Hong Kong.   

In the pursuit of quality journalism in the F&B industry, Foodie underwent a rebrand in 2023 with a new direction and scope for Hong Kong’s beloved food and drinks magazine.
