Don’t let the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce romance distract you from what the Super Bowl is really all about – American football and food.

This year’s Super Bowl LVIII is set for Sunday, Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, pitting the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers. But for us here in Hong Kong, that means we’ll be watching the game on Monday, Feb. 12 (also coinciding with a public holiday for Chinese New Year).

Luckily for all the American football supporters in the 852, FRITES Central will be live-streaming the match from 7:30AM next Monday, also offering a delicious breakfast menu to keep us fans energised.

On the Super Bowl breakfast menu (from HKD150 pp), global brekkie dishes like the American-meets-Japanese savoury soufflé pancake topped with fried chicken and spicy maple syrup and Middle Eastern shakshuka make appearances. A heartier option is the FRITES Big Breakfast (+HKD40) with all the traditional British-style trappings front and centre, from eggs, bacon, and sausage to avocado, mushrooms, and baked beans. Coffee is included with each dish selection.

And what’s a Super Bowl without knocking back a brewski or two? Top up your breakfast at FRITES with a two-hour free-flow package (HKD250 pp), which comes with bottomless Stella Artois, Prosecco, house red and white wine, Bloody Marys, soft drinks, and juices.
