Giando Italian Restaurant & Bar, opened by acclaimed chef Gianni Caprioli, has just been ranked as the 19th best Italian restaurant in the world in 2024 by premium dining guide 50 Top Italy.
Serving a contemporary Italian menu featuring boutique wines, farm producers, and artisanal products, Giando was founded in 2012 with a mission to import the great taste of southern Italy to Hong Kong.
Landing on 50 Top Italy’s rankings at 49th place in 2019, Giando climbed to 45th place in 2022 and to the 22nd spot in 2023. The Star Street restaurant beat Hong Kong three-Michelin-starred 8½ Otto E Mezzo Bombana, which ranks at number 47.
