A third Italian rendition to the 208 Hollywood Road address in 14 years comes in the form of 208 Italian, replacing Ramato and 208 Duecento Otto as it opens its doors this June 2024.
Launched in 2010, 208 Duecento Otto stood for 12 years and excelled in rustic and hearty Italian fare, before being replaced by Ramato with a menu designed by Estro chef Antimo Maria Merone.
The neighbourhood’s grandmotherly Italian kitchen is now dressed in bright orange and black colours, reflecting a new era for the address. The à-la-carte menu shares affordable selections of pasta, risotto, appetisers, oven-cooked pizza, and grilled fish and meat.
Under their current soft-opening phase from 4PM till 11PM daily, you can catch happy hour from 4PM till 7PM, with glasses of wine, cocktails, draught beer, and spirits priced at HKD58.
208 Italian has been opened by Epicurean Group, whilst Ramato and 208 Duecento Otto were led by JIA Group.
