Japan’s leading curry specialist Caligari has landed at Entertainment Building in Central, the first overseas location for the famed brand originating in Akihabara, Tokyo.

In Japan, Caligari has racked up the awards and accolades; it’s rated as one of the country’s top 100 restaurants in the Tablelog restaurant guide, and in 2019 and 2023, it snagged the number 1 spot in the Kanda Curry Grand Prix, which celebrates Japan’s most beloved curry houses.

Now, Hong Kongers can get a taste of Caligari’s award-winning curry recipes, cooked at low temperatures under high pressure, with each curry dish available in two varieties – the Caligari curry with the sweetness of coconut milk and the premium spice curry, which is even more spice-rich and aromatic.

Caligari Hong Kong’s soft-opening menu features the brand’s most iconic dishes, including tatsuta chicken breast (HKD138/HKD158), pork cutlet (HKD138/HKD158), and Wagyu meat cutlet (HKD138/HKD158). Add-on toppings (+HKD25 each) like crab cream croquettes, potato wedges, and burdock chips are also available to really gild your curry lily.
