Locally famed Insomnia nightclub in Lan Kwai Fong is closing after 25 years, according to the company who has taken over the property.
Serving Hong Kong’s live music scene for 25 years, Insomnia grew strong with an ever-changing line-up of local and international music acts at the club. At their height, the group running Insomnia operated six nightclubs and bars in total across Hong Kong.
Quarry Bay business firm FTI Consulting (Hong Kong) Limited formally took over management of the nightclub on Jul. 17. They are set to confer over new plans for developing the property once Insomnia shuts down.
Step By Step, the bar group that runs Insomnia, currently operates Dusk till Dawn and Centre Stage in Wan Chai and All Night Long in Tsim Sha Tsui.
