At this Instagrammable pop-up decked out with a MAMA Noodles swing area for photo-taking, diners can indulge in six collaborative dishes, both salty and sweet, created by the iconic Thai instant noodle brand and the Tsim Sha Tsui outpost of Nara Thai Cuisine, a beloved restaurant from Bangkok.
Starring on the pop-up menu, available from Jul. 7 till Sep. 8, is the MAMA tom yum super pot (HKD198), a massive bowl fusing MAMA Noodles’ Creamy Tom Yum seasoning powder with Nara’s signature tom yum kung soup. Perfect for sharing between two or even three hungry folk, the soup is topped up with crispy pork belly and minced pork, squid, shrimp, and Japanese egg yolks – you certainly won’t go hungry with this one!
Some of the other pop-up dishes we look forward to trying are the MAMA Noodles chicken nuggets with tom yum mayo (HKD78), with the crunchy coating made from crushed noods, MAMA khao soi duo with slow-cooked chicken (HKD168), and the sweet stunner of Thai salted egg napoleon with coconut ice cream (HKD88), incorporating MAMA Noodles’ Salted Egg powder into the dessert.
If you order any of these exclusive dishes at the Tsim Sha Tsui Thai restaurant, you’ll get the chance to take part in a fun giveaway, where limited-edition mascot plushies and other MAMA Noodles prizes are up for grabs.
